WELCOME

Tres Cantos is a peculiar city for several reasons: its youth, its high socio-cultural level, its industrial network with a strong component in R&D, its close relationship with Madrid Autonomous University (it has collaborated with University on Campus project for International Excellence), the optimum level of public education and the urban design, keeping the balance between residential, public facilities and industrial areas, wide green zones and big avenues.

The civil service main objective, and especially local civil service, must be offering the best service to citizens, optimizing human and material resources. This efficiency objective guides the working program of current Government team.

According to this, we work to improve life quality of Tres Cantos citizens, through the improvement of urban space and its transformation for a better coexistence, also by means of social , sports, educational and cultural policies; the reinforcement of security and a long etcetera of interventions in all the fields of municipal life.

Real quality service to citizen begins providing an easier access to information and the simplification of bureaucratic procedures, in observance to law 11/2007 (27th June) that regulates electronic access of citizens to public services.

For this reason , we provide you this municipal web, where you will find information referring to your city council services and also a big amount of general information, for example how to pay your taxes or getting a proof of residence, and you will be able to get in touch with us to communicate your opinions and suggestions. This web will reinforce another communication channels that we already share with you : letters, e-mails , municipal newsletter..., these channels will also have their space in this web.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Tres Cantos City Council´ workers and civil servants, their dedication and professionalism to offer a service of excellence to citizens.
